Look to Love: Heidi Klum’s Beautiful Shimmery Eye Makeup

It’s like a law of the universe. (Ok, well maybe just my universe.) Where there’s a Victoria’s Secret runway show, there’s at least one gorge date night makeup idea for me to steal. Although the whole lingerie-covered, star-studded, angel-filled spectacular doesn’t air until December 3rd, I caught a sneak peek of some of the show’s highlights this morning and it made me want to fast forward this week to Friday night so I can test out Heidi Klum’s glamtastic makeup.

See how she’s got a very strong “V” of glamorous metallic shadow in her inner corners? I’m officially obsessed with it. I think the unexpected placement is a fun, cool way to wear the gold eye shadow trend. And I’ve got the key steps and products you need to recreate it. Check it out!

The trick is to have at least two colors on hand—a softer gold that you swipe on from the middle of your bottom lid out to the outer corner (as well as on your upper lids just to the crease) and then a lighter, almost-white shade to smear in the inner corner. Easy, right?
