The First Look at Fifty Shades Darker Is Here, and It’s Already Super Steamy

It’s been a little less than a year since we were treated to the first brief teaser trailer for the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel, Fifty Shades Darker. The 30-second video shows only Jamie Dornan putting on a mask, but even that was enough to get us pumped for the follow-up film. And since then, we’ve had to be content with watching the unrated version and reading the WTF lines from Grey, the latest book in the franchise.

But, lo! In the past couple of days, the first photos from the set have become available. First we were treated to a pic of Jamie Dornan Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson Anastasia Steele K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Take a look:

The latest photos, released March 4, give us a peek of Max Martini playing Grey’s trusted bodyguard, Jason Taylor…

…a photo of Grey and Anastasia staring into each others’ eyes and smiling in the rain…

…and—you guessed it—there’s another kissing scene.

The photos make it seem like filming has been going swimmingly, but Johnson has said it hasn’t been the easiest: “We shot the first movie two years ago, so it’s going to be a challenge to get back into that. But it’s happening, and it’s going to be great. The story goes to an interesting place, and it’s more of a thriller with new characters, which will be nice.”

Speaking of new characters, *Teen Wolf *star Tyler Hoechlin has been cast as Boyce Fox, the first author Ana signs as an editor.

Unfortunately, you have to wait all the way until Feb. 10, 2017, to see the finished project. Hope you’re patient!
