Bar Refaeli Tops Maxim’s Hot 100 List
Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli has held just about every honor on the planet revolving around hotness–cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio, Victoria’s Secret catalogue–so it was really just a matter of time before she snagged the top spot on Maxim’s annual Hot 100 List.

This year’s list is unique for a few reasons–readers were allowed to vote for their favorites and a dude made it in for the first time ever (Stephen Colbert, coming in at a respectable #69, thanks to a slew of write-in votes!).
Refaeli cracked the top 10 last year, but 2012 was her time to shine, telling Maxim that she was “shocked that among all these beautiful ladies, I’m number one.” She also told nymag.com’s The Cut, “I never get used to it, because when I wake up in the morning I put on my baggy jeans and my T-shirt, and I feel not even close to being sexy. So when they come to me with these titles I’m like, Wow, I didn’t even know I’m sexy. You know, you forget it. It’s a really big compliment, like an alter ego kind of thing.” Aw, and she’s humble, too!
