Exclusive: Actress Amber Heard, The New Face Of Guess, Dishes On Denim!

Declared an official hottie by pretty much every men’s magazine since she first broke onto the scene in 2007, actress Amber Heard was a no-brainer casting choice for sexy, pin-up-lovin’ brand Guess. She’s stunning and smart and she’s got that whole Old Hollywood thing down pat, at just 25. Last night we dished with the starlet on the thing that we love most about Guess – you guessed it, denim! Come see what she had to say…

Double denim never looked so good!

What do you gravitate towards when it comes to denim? What’s your go-to?

I think denim is hard because, with denim, you have to really understand your body type to do it well.

My go-to denim is vintage. My go-to anything is vintage. I don’t always choose one type of cut or fit. As with anything in fashion, it’s about how you feel, how you want to look, where you’re going, what you’re doing. So, for me, it’s about variation.

But I do love high-waisted jeans. I love old-fashioned cuts that make a feminine silhouette look amazing. I think you lose that with some more modern cuts of denim.

What do you think is the biggest denim Don’t?

I think it would be one standard issue, one style of jean – the low-waist skinny jean for instance – that every body type is expected to fit into or something…That’s my denim pet peeve; when everybody tries to wear a certain kind of look.

What’s your favorite Guess jean cut or style?

I like, in particular, the Brittany jean that Guess makes because it’s high-waisted and it makes the feminine silhouette look as amazing as it can be. I think jeans are supposed to make you look good. It’s as simple as that.

__Ladies, what do you think of Amber’s denim philosophy – do you agree? Do you love these pin-up-era campaign images or what? Do tell! __
