Kendall and Kylie Jenner Are Creating the Bag of Your Dreams

With dozens (hundreds? thousands? definitely a lot) of tony handbags from the likes of Hermès and Balenciaga at their disposal, Kylie and Kendall Jenner know what makes an It Bag.

But the It Girls do not want their fans to have to shell out thousands to get the look of the luxe mini bucket bags, pebble leather satchels, or ’90s-inspired backpacks they are so often photographed wearing. So Kendall and Kylie are making their own.

The sisters, whose ever-growing fashion empire has been making headlines for months now, is launching handbags under their Kendall + Kylie line, which already features ready-to-wear and shoes.

“Bags are definitely a must-have accessory, they can take your outfit to a whole new level,” said Kendall in a statement. “Our handbag collection is super modern and pairs really well with pieces from our Kendall + Kylie ready-to-wear and shoe collection for fall.”

Adds Kylie: “I love that we played with all different sizes, from mini to large. A good handbag is functional and easy to use, without compromising the design or overall look. … Each design definitely makes its own statement.”

Here’s a look at the first style. We’ll keep you posted on the entire collection as it becomes available.

A style from the Kendall + Kylie handbag collection, which comes out in August.

The line, which debuts in August at Bloomingdale’s, Shopbop, and similar retailers, will include classic shapes with modern details, such as mini bucket bags, oversize clutches with calf-hair touches, and oh-so-Kylie pebbled leather backpacks. And the retails? Definitely doable, with prices starting at $75 and going up to $450.
