Loving Her Look: Becki Newton’s Stylist Gives Us The Inside Dish

Usually I come across a photo of a celeb whose look I’m loving and am left to guess just how her fashion team managed to put it together. But today, we’ve got Becki Newton’s stylist, Annie Ladino, giving us the inside scoop on just how the Ugly Betty star chose this chic blue Yves Saint Laurent strapless number and how they put their heads together to accessorize. “We really wanted her to look sleek and sophisticated,” Ladino says of this look. “But black is boring during the recession. It’s too somber.” So instead they opted for this electric blue number with a black built-in belt and a pair of patent leather YSL pumps. “We were also really conscious of her shape–I think form-fitting works best.” When you’ve got a body like Newton’s, why hide it? The final touch, the vintage bracelets, were plucked from Newton’s own jewelry box. Are you guys loving her look, too?
