So She Secretly Got Married???Scarlett Johansson’s Hair Is the Big News Here

Everyone is talking about the fact that Scarlett Johansson secretly married Romain Dauriac in September, but honestly, I think the biggest news here is her hair. Just look.

ScarJo’s floppy-on-top buzzed haircut was pretty much the star of last night’s 24th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards. While her hair’s been short since the summer, we haven’t gotten to see much of it on the red carpet (Scarlett’s been busy welcoming her new baby, Rose, into the world), and the cut appears to have really come of age since then. It’s shorter on the sides, and here, has an edgy unwashed texture, seemingly achieved through use of a couple of gallons of shine serum and other product.

I know—from that description, one would never guess I actually LOVE this hair on Scarlett, but I do. I almost can’t believe it, but somehow, rather than looking greasy and/or severe, it totally flatters her. Her makeup is spot-on for the hair look as well. Has she ever looked quite this radiant? Not to mention cool?
